1. Who we are

We’re Buratto Ltd, trading as Beton (“we”, “us”, “our”).

We operate an open-source and cloud platform that helps sales teams enrich and orchestrate lead data.

Our website is getbeton.ai and our hosted app runs at app.getbeton.ai.

We also publish the self-hosted open-source version of Beton at github.com/getbeton/beton-ai.

By using Beton (whether hosted or self-hosted), you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. What these terms cover

These terms apply to:

  • anyone creating an account on Beton’s hosted platform;
  • anyone using Beton’s API or integrations;
  • anyone installing or self-hosting Beton from our open-source repository.

If you disagree with these terms, please don’t use Beton.

3. Our services

Beton helps you collect, orchestrate, and enrich business data from multiple sources.

We offer:

  • a hosted version (SaaS) where we handle setup, billing, and infrastructure;
  • a self-hosted open-source version under the MIT license.

For self-hosted use, the MIT license governs your rights to use and modify the code.

For hosted use, these Terms apply alongside the MIT license.

4. Accounts and access

You’re responsible for keeping your account secure.

You must not share your login credentials or misuse the service.

If you suspect unauthorized access, let us know immediately at v@getbeton.ai.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, cause technical harm, or misuse the service.

5. Billing and credits

You can purchase usage credits through Stripe to access Beton’s hosted features.

Credits may be used to call data vendors or integrations.

Credits are non-refundable and expire only if your account is deleted or inactive for over 12 months.

All payments are processed by Stripe, and their terms apply to each transaction.

We don’t store your payment details directly.

6. Third-party services and integrations

Beton connects to third-party APIs (like data providers, CRMs, or AI models).

When you use those integrations, you must also follow each vendor’s terms of service.

We don’t control or guarantee the accuracy of data from third parties.

You’re responsible for ensuring you have the right to access, use, and share any data you request via Beton.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Beton for spam, scraping personal data, or violating others’ rights;
  • bypass rate limits or use the API in ways that overload our systems;
  • use Beton to build a competing product that copies our hosted service;
  • violate any laws or third-party API terms.

We may enforce fair-use limits to ensure stability and prevent abuse.

8. Open-source license

Our open-source repositories (including github.com/getbeton/beton-ai) are licensed under the MIT License.

You may use, copy, modify, and distribute the code, but Beton’s hosted infrastructure, paid features, and brand assets are not included under that license.

9. Ownership and marketing rights

You retain all rights to your data and content.

We retain all rights to Beton’s software, brand, and documentation.

By creating an account or using Beton, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use your company name and logo in our promotional materials, case studies, and websites.

You can withdraw this right later by emailing v@getbeton.ai, but we’re not required to remove historical mentions.

10. Disclaimer and limitations

We provide Beton “as is” with no warranties or guarantees.

We don’t promise uninterrupted service or error-free performance.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beton and Buratto Ltd are not liable for:

  • indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;
  • data loss, corruption, or inaccurate information from third-party sources;
  • losses caused by misuse, downtime, or third-party failures.

Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Beton harmless from any claim, loss, or cost (including legal fees) arising from:

  • your misuse of Beton;
  • your breach of these terms;
  • your violation of any third-party API or data vendor terms.

12. Termination

You can stop using Beton at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you violated these terms or caused risk to us or others.

Sections on liability, ownership, marketing rights, and indemnity survive termination.

13. Dispute resolution

These terms are governed by English law.

If we can’t resolve a dispute informally, you and we agree to submit it either:

  • to the courts of England and Wales, or
  • to binding arbitration, if both sides agree.

14. Changes

We may update these terms occasionally.

When we do, we’ll post the new version at getbeton.ai/terms and update the effective date.

If you keep using Beton after changes are posted, that means you accept the new version.
