1. Who we are

We’re Buratto Ltd, trading as Beton (“we”, “us”, “our”).

We operate an open-source and hosted platform that helps sales teams collect, enrich, and orchestrate data from multiple sources.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.

2. What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • Users of our hosted platform at app.getbeton.ai;
  • Visitors to getbeton.ai;
  • Developers and contributors using our open-source repositories at github.com/getbeton/beton-ai;
  • Customers interacting with us through Stripe or other integrations.

It doesn’t apply to third-party services we integrate with (like data providers or CRMs).

Those services have their own privacy policies.

3. Data we collect

a. Information you provide

We collect:

  • Account details: name, email address, company name, password.
  • Billing data: when you purchase credits, we receive limited payment info from Stripe (we don’t store card details).
  • Support communications: messages or files you send us.
  • Marketing consent: if you subscribe to updates or newsletters.

b. Information we collect automatically

When you use Beton, we may collect:

  • Usage data: actions in the app, API requests, integrations used.
  • Device and log data: IP address, browser type, country, and timestamps.
  • Cookies: small files to keep you logged in and remember preferences.

c. Information from third parties

If you connect Beton to external services (like CRMs, enrichment tools, or AI APIs), we may process limited identifiers (e.g. API keys, workspace names) needed for orchestration.

4. How we use your data

We use your data to:

  1. Provide, operate, and maintain Beton’s services.
  2. Process payments and manage credit balances.
  3. Improve product performance and fix issues.
  4. Communicate with you about updates, security, and support.
  5. Detect abuse or misuse of the platform.
  6. Comply with legal obligations (e.g. tax or accounting).

We do not sell your data.

5. Legal bases for processing

Under UK and EU data protection laws, we process your data under one or more of these bases:

  • Contract: to provide our service to you;
  • Legitimate interest: to improve Beton, prevent fraud, and communicate with users;
  • Legal obligation: to comply with law or tax requirements;
  • Consent: for marketing or optional cookies.

You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing v@getbeton.ai.

6. How we store and protect your data

Your data is stored in secure European data centres with encryption in transit and at rest.

We use access controls and audit logs to protect your account.

For self-hosted versions, you control where your data lives — Beton does not access it.

7. Sharing your data

We may share limited data with:

  • Service providers: Stripe (payments), hosting, analytics, and email services.
  • Integrations you connect: e.g. Apollo, HubSpot, or other vendors — only as needed to complete your requests.
  • Legal authorities: if required by law or court order.

We require all third-party processors to comply with GDPR and handle data securely.

8. International transfers

If we transfer data outside the UK or EU (for example, to hosting or email providers), we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards to protect your rights.

9. Data retention

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above, or to comply with legal obligations.

If you delete your account, we’ll remove your personal data within 30 days unless required to retain it for tax or legal reasons.

10. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data;
  • Correct inaccurate data;
  • Request deletion (“right to be forgotten”);
  • Object to or restrict certain processing;
  • Port your data to another provider;
  • Withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise these rights, email v@getbeton.ai.

We’ll respond within 30 days.

11. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and performance.

We may also use optional analytics cookies (e.g. to measure usage trends).

You can manage cookie preferences in your browser or by contacting us.

12. Marketing

We may email you about product updates or features.

You can unsubscribe anytime by clicking the link in our emails or contacting us.

13. Open-source use

When you self-host Beton, you control all data processed in your instance.

We don’t collect or access any personal data from self-hosted installations.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally.

We’ll post the new version at getbeton.ai/privacy with a new effective date.

If changes are significant, we’ll notify registered users by email.
